While we don’t promote it, we’ve made several Fleece Photo Blankets that were gifts from a wife to a husband where she was dressed in lingerie.  They were tasteful as we won’t print images that are distasteful or questionable.  However, we do appreciate the opportunity to support our troops in this very unique way.

In another instance, we printed a full page hand-written letter from a soldier on duty back to his girlfriend at home.  He wanted to express his thanks to her for supporting him.  The detail in the fleece photo blankets is so good, the letter was completely legible on the blanket.  This would not be possible on a woven or knitted blanket, even ours!

Our Photo Pillow Cases have been popular as a gift to a long distance boyfriend or girlfriend.  They’re a very personal gift to keep someone close who is far away.  For this same reason, we’ve made several that have been shipped overseas to our men and women in the armed forces.  What a great way to keep those in the Army and Marines feel loved than with them on their pillow every night?

They are also inexpensive so they won’t break your budget either.

We recently introduced a personalized Photo Rubick’s Cube and some of the uses have been just great.  Parents like to buy a Rubick’s Cube with photos of their new baby on it.  It makes a great keepsake and fun conversation piece to display in their home.

We’ve also seen several for birthdays too.  We recently make one for a 40^th birthday.  One side was the birthday boy while the others were memorable photos such as one of his family, his boat, some friends and a few from work.  His wife, who ordered it, is looking forward to seeing his expression when he opens it on his birthday.

A photo Rubick’s Cube is also a popular gift for a girl friend.  Girls seem to have hundreds of photos of themselves and their friends.  Picking just six may be the hard part but it’ll be worth the effort.  It’s better than a picture frame because you’ve got six photos to choose from and can turn it to your favorite side!

She said it was one of the best gifts she’s ever done.  The new home owners proudly display their blanket in their home, often on their couch, and mention it (and their realtor) to everyone one who sees it.  What a great way to get referrals!  And she’s received many heart-felt ‘thank yous’ from her clients who know she put some time and thought into selecting a personalized gift for them.

Not only is the Photo Blanket a great house warming gift, it’s also a great marketing tool for her.  Think of all the wonderful things these new home owners are saying about her behind her back.  They’re talking to their family and friends, to their new neighbors and anyone else who stops by the house and sees the Photo Blanket displayed.

While this not the typical buyer of our Photo Blankets, it is a typical response from the gift recipient.  They know someone (you) put some thought into their gift and it’s something they can actually use and display in their home.

The detail in the blanket was an important part of their decision.  Beased upon this, they decided to order the large Fleece Photo Blanket.   Of all our photo blankets, this one has the most detail.  They submitted a photo with good contrast and lighting and wanted the school’s name and year added across the bottom.

The team mom told us the girls were thrilled with the results and now have something to remember their time together on their cheerleader team.

The most popular item for a collage is our Fleece Photo Blanket. The reason is the detail is just so amazing on the fleece blankets. The dye sublimation process is almost photographic in quality. It is on a fuzzy blanket instead of paper, but it’s close.

We’ve also created collages for customers on photo puzzles (as previously mentioned), photo canvas and other photo blankets including our large knitted photo blanket.

My recommendation, which I always share, is to contact us about the product you want to use the collage one.  We can then get you the image requirements so it will fit the item perfectly.

Just this week we made another memorial photo blanket for a young girl and her horse.  They were sitting together in the field.  While they know the horse won’t be around too much longer, they do have a nice photo and will now have a great, heirloom quality photo blanket to always remember those days together.

During the emotional time when you lose a loved one, it’s likely not your first though, but saving and cherishing your memories is important.  Many customers have found having a blanket they can literally wrap themselves up in, is a comforting way to keep a loved one nearby.

With a little knowledge and a graphics program, it’s something anyone can do.  She order the 10x 14 wooden puzzle so created an image that was 10″ x 14″ at 200 dpi.  She layout out the photos and text exactly as she wanted them then saved the image as a high quality jpg file.  She then used this file when she placed her order. 

The puzzles are printed using dye sublimation so they came out looking just like the collage she created.  The wooden puzzles have the advantage of being made from a high quality pressed wood.  Our wooden photo puzzles are much more durable than puzzles made from cardboard and they come with an impressive, glossy finish.  The result is a fantastic gift that will be remembered for years to come.

Of all the swim team towels we’ve done, the most memorable have been action photos of the swimmers in the water.  It can be difficult to get a good photo of them swimming but that, along with either their name or name and school, can be a great gift. For obvious reasons, the navy blue and white towels are very popular.

The other interesting use we’ve seen with the Photo Beach Towels is often coordinated by the coaches or a few parents as a reward for swimmer achieving a significant goal.  I remember a team that had six swimmers who were going to state and each was given their own Photo Beach Towel with their photo to take with them.

The great thing about our Photo Beach Towels is the quality of the towel itself.  Being woven from 2-ply Egyptian Cotton means they are thick, absorbent towels and they get softer as they get used.  My wife and I have a few at home that are going on three years old now.  They are still in great shape and softer than the day they were woven.

For the truly newly weds, the text can be a devotion of young love.  A simple ‘I Love You’ fits well and doesn’t distract from the image.   For those who have been at it a little longer, maybe 25 or 50 years, the text is more often the wedding date and/or ‘Happy 25th Anniversary” and maybe the couples first names.

The beach towels are truly wonderful towels.  They are woven from 100% natural Cotton, are thick and absorbent, and will last for years.  You may find cheaper towels but you won’t find a better quality towel.
